Lime Butterfly

Papilio demoleus

Description:

This little lime has taken resident in our garden/patch of tarmac that we strive as much as possible to keep green. I'm quite happy with this as it will let me observe butterfly sleeping habits, depending on how long it stays. And it gave me a present: it opened it's wings, giving me my first look at them, and my first picture.

Habitat:

Urban

Notes:

Haven't seen many of these since Chinese New Year- nice to know that they're rebounding!
