Description:

The Great Tit is the largest of the UK Tit family, lovely yellow breast and a striking black head and throat. usually lives in woodlands and feeds on seeds and insects. can be defensive around its patch and will fend off other birds if feeding on a bird table. breeds and winters in the UK.

Habitat:

seen at Potteric Carr nature reserve, owned by the Yorkshire wildlife trust
