Description:

About 30mm long. Complex, mottled patterns of mostly black and white but this one had some hints of green also.

Habitat:

Attracted to lights at the local school.

Notes:

Also called Sweet Potato Leaf Worm or Sorcerer. Other images might show paler variations and I couldn't find the green. This species is found from France to Japan to Tasmania. Larvae feed on Bindweed, Morning Glory, Sweet Potato and others.
