Six-spotted tiger beetle

Cicindela sexgutata

A small beetle, about 1 inch long, most specimens have six white spots ( three on each elytra ) However this one only had two that i could see. The rest of the beetle is a metallic green color.

This specimen was found on my driveway near some holly bushes.

The weather was warm and sunny.
