Cauliflower fungi

Description:

On the base of a large stringybark eucalyptus. About 300mm wide. A folded, convoluted soft creamy growth with minute pores on some surfaces. No obvious odour.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve adjoining a large eucalyptus dominated national park.

Notes:

Pores seemed 'closed' at this stage? Yet to search for this...
