Description:

Spectacular colored bird of a height of 3.5 to 4.0 feet with tailfeathers expanded. Te males show a mating display that is striking and beautiful. They also have a vibrating walk that they show while trying to "impress" the female.

Habitat:

"Farm-like" area adjacent to the everglades. Grassy lawn areas and feed provided by the park owners.

Notes:

"Captive" bird. Could leave if it wants to but apparently does not want to leave.
