Mokara Orchid

Description:

Mokara orchid is an intergeneric hybrid of Ascocentrum, Arachnis and Vanda orchids and was first grown in 1969 in Singapore. Vanda is mostly epiphytic, and distributed in India, Himalaya, SE Asia, Indonesia, the Philippines, New Guinea, southern China and northern Australia. This genus and its allies are considered to be the most highly evolved of all orchids within the family Orchidaceae.
