Small mushroom, shorter than a blade of grass. Pristine, smooth white stalk. Beige cap, like a closed umbrella.
Grows in full sun in the grass, directly on the ground.
Probably a Conocybe species.
Thank you António! It very well could be a Coprinellus. This mushroom's smooth cap and the fact that it grows alone are confounding factors, though.
Nice finding Mauna ,i think this is a Coprinellus sp.
