Description:

Size is 16-20 mm for the species. Narrowly elongate-oval in shape, and marked as shown. Nocturnal in habits.

Habitat:

Attracted to a mercury vapor light and blacklight setup at night in Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, south Texas. Habitat is coastal wetland.

Notes:

This species is closely associated with wood rats (Neotoma sp.), upon which it feeds.
