Canada Goose goslings can be seen where adult Canada Goose are observed. When they are a day old,Canada Goose goslings will take their first swim under the watchful care of their parents. Observe them near shorelines, tundra, wetlands, marshes. Open fields and coastal areas. Fresh water lakes, ponds. Spending time in meadows, golf courses and city parks. They may also live near retention/detention basins, lagoons. In some urban areas where there is lawn, grasses and water near by.

This curious Canada Goose gosling was running about in and out of the water. It was fun to observe the adorable gosling as it explored the tide flats of the bay. The watchful parents stayed close and hurried along with their busy youngster.
