Description:

Forewing is variable red brown with darker and lighter wavy bands.

Habitat:

A Canadian resident moth in the past where it has been known to inhabit caves. In the USA respective maps include spotting's in Washington State,which have been numerous.

Notes:

Limited information is available for habitat and range. I spotted this moth in Hoquiam,Wa. near the Pacific Ocean,bay inlet. It was light attracted.
