Marasmius haematocephalus
Marasmius mushrooms are found worldwide, especially in the Tropics. They come in a variety of colours such as orange, pink and white.
They enjoy dark, damp to wet areas on decaying matter, particularly leaf litter and grow in large numbers, forming 'colonies' of tiny mushrooms, covering the entire subject they are feeding on. Their caps or fruiting bodies are very soft.
