Hurter's Spadefoot

Scaphiophus hurterii

Description:

The body is a gray-silver color. The most distinguishing feature of all spadefoots is the vertical pupil. From there, the Hurter's spadefoot is identified by its sickle-shaped spade on the back foot used for digging, and also by the boss (hump) present between the eyes.

Habitat:

Found in an oak forest.

Thanks Antonio :) This one isn't adult, but it's also pretty large for a baby. Kind of in the awkward teenage stage :) I have a spotting of an adult one I just uploaded, really just difference in size, they look the same.
