Pipevine Swallowtail Butterfly Eggs

Description:

Eggs are orange and ribbed. Females lay batches of eggs on underside of host plant leaves. Caterpillars feed in small groups when young but become solitary when older. Wintering is by the chrysalis.

Habitat:

Wooly Pipevine, Aristolochia tomentosa
