Description:

The Níspero is a delicious fruit with (usually) 3 shiny, very pretty seeds. It tolerates both heat and cold. This particular tree was growing in the patio of a very old colonial house that is being converted into a restaurant. It was flowering, but only had one single little fruit.

Habitat:

Colonial House in the center of San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
