Description:

Slender beetles with metallic green colour and bronze or copper reflections. The head is more slender than the pronotus, the anthenae are filiform and has eleven segmenta and the eyes are big and prominent. The prothorax is triangular and the legs black, long and hairy. The imago is diurnal and happens between April and June on varied flowers, specially rockroses (Cistus), feeding on polen. The larvae feed on tree wood, specially on Quercus.

Habitat:

Spotted on a Rock rose (Cistus ladanifer) in a dispersed Holm oak forest.
