Dainty Sulfur Butterfly

Description:

Rather small butterfly.It has a very characteristic yellow-orange patch on the fore wing. Butterfly appears to be pollinating ground cover. I have also observed this species on wild flowers.

Open spaces near stands of trees and a creek
