Description:

Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Acronictinae (Dagger Moths) Total length: 13-15 mm. Uncommon. White FW has complex pattern of fragmented black lines. Orbicular spot is a black dot. Terminal line and fringe are checkered black and white. Hosts: Black gum.

Habitat:

Woodlands and large gardens. Came to light under deck.

Notes:

2nd one spotted. Variable design.
