Hyperchiria nausica
It was on the large size and it look so much like a dry leaf, but when the wings open it had red and black and white stripes, it was very fuzzy (hairy).
Thank you, Adarsha B S, it was Moth time here in Costa Rica, sometimes I had hundreds around me and the computer but that was the only interesting one I found so far. : (
Thank you, Jatishwor Singh Irungbam and bayucca, for trying to ID, this cute Moth. I check many times in the internet, I could not find a Lasiocampidae sp. with the black and white underneath the wings but Saturniid Moth, Hyperchiria nausica, did, and look very much like the spotting, I am not an expert but I check all the ID suggestions before I edit the spottings.
No, it is definitely Saturniidae, Hemileucinae, Hyperchiria nausica.
I know why you are thinking of Lasiocampidae. But if you look very carefully you see the differences:

Look at the hindwings!
Bayucca.. I think Family is Lasiocampidae. its not Saturniidae
That is it !! Thank you so much, bayucca, You are the best!! : )
Thank you so much for the ID, KarenL, I have been searching and can not find one with the black and white lines!!
Saturniidae, Hemileucinae, Hyperchiria sp. and most probably Hyperchiria nausica. Actually all these silkmoth would need DNA and/or genital dissection!
