Description:

Family: Apatelodidae. Total length: 18-22 mm. Wingspan: 32-42 mm. Gray FW is marked with faint blackish lines that widen near inner margin and a black basal patch. Translucent dot near apex is more obvious from underside. Thorax has thick black band. Hairy thick abdomen. Hosts: Deciduous trees including ash, maple and oak.

Habitat:

Woodlands (Found near woodland pond light)
