Anas cyanoptera
So excited to see one of these... the first bird I ID'd inside Yellowstone. About 1.5 feet long, male and female pair. Male was a rich copper color, Female the typical mottled brown of a female dabbler.
A small pond or inlet from the river. (I was too excited to notice...)
Lat: 37.32, Long: -113.05
