Stoermeriana aculeata (Lasiocampidae)

Stoermeriana aculeata

Description:

Saw a cocoon develop into this beautiful moth. Missed the emergence, but caught it still with floppy wings. A few days later it started laying eggs. What is strange to me is that it laid its eggs in different places all over.

Great spotting, very educational and the eggs are pretty interesting!
