Description:

Multi-colored moth with a prominent white band, 1 cm long. The second picture was taken on the 26th of April 2013.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.

Notes:

Another spotting in June 2013 seems to be the same species, but the white banding is bright green. Opposite sex or a variation? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/309...
