Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Lymantriinae. (Tussock Moths). Chunky with extremely hairy bodies. TL: up to 26 mm. Sexually dimorphic.Yellowish brown FW has dusky scalloped lines and black crescent-shaped reniform spot. Antennae are broadly bipectinate. Hosts: Oak. Day-flier and attracted to light. Harmful to oak trees.

Habitat:

Woodlands. Came to light.
