Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Arctiinae, Tribe: Arctiini. (Tiger Moths) Length: 20-22 mm. Blackish brown or brown FW boldly marked with white spots that are sometimes fused. Hosts: Hound's-tongue.

Habitat:

Woodlands, fields, meadow, lawns (Found on a blade of grass on the lawn) Near woodlands/shade.
