Large Maple Spanworm Moth

Prochoerodes lineola

Description:

Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Ennominae. Wingspan: 43-46 mm. Common Typical Geometer Moth. Variable. Pale yellow to purplish brown FW is marked with pale-edged AM and PM lines. Often has zigzag or dotted ST line. HW has straight median line. Tiny black discal dots mark all wings. Hosts": Deciduous trees and low plants including apple, birch, blueberry, cherry, grasses, oak and poplar.

Habitat:

Woodlands, but came to light.

Notes:

I'm really a cool looking bat, but that moth girl told me I was just a moth!!! With other unknown moth (I should know this one.) On my jacket in two photos.
