Hangingfly

Bittacus strigosus

Description:

Has long, gangly legs. Hangs from the two front pairs of legs or just the first pair, especially if it has prey. Light tan coloration, with light stripes on wings. Beak is moderately long.

Habitat:

I usually find these insects, as I did this one, at the edge of a deciduous forest.
