Small Scarab Beetle

Description:

A common species of Scarab beetle. Small in size, about 1cm in length. These dark brown beetles looks like seeds, they are also nocturnal. Possibly a Apogonia brevis, A. laevicollis or A. büttikoferi.

Habitat:

Around Sukau, Lower Kinabatangan river, Sabah.
