Polistes humilis

Description:

An attractive, spherical papery nest approximately 30mm diameter hanging from a single stem. About 25 chambers.

Habitat:

Notes:

Long since vacated and dried. Very clean. The next spotting will be of a weird wasp found only a few metres away. (This turned out to be a different species)
