Sayornis phoebe

Description:

Small flycatcher with dark gray-brown upperparts and slightly darker wings and tail. Underparts are pale with hint of olive-brown or yellow on sides and breast. Bill, legs, and feet are black.

Habitat:

Wildlife habitat yard

Notes:

This bird had just taken a bath. It flew up onto an ornamental metal tree, then over to the hackberry to finish its grooming.
