Description:

Small white geometer moth with four black spots, one on each wing. Wingspan is about 10 mm. Banded darker wave-like lines going over the wings. The end of each wing is brushed with small hairs and a line with small black spots is barely visible at the outer edge of the wings. Looks like an Idaea species, I. trisetata looks similar, however it's not been spotted in Sri Lanka through iNaturalist. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations... https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/734481-...

Habitat:

Urban settlement, close to small patches of jungle.
