White-rumped Shama

Copsychus malabaricus

This particular bird is a male that I spotted while hiking in Moanalua Valley on the island of Oahu.

These birds were introduced to Hawaii from Malaysia, and eventually to the island of Oahu in 1940 by the Hui Manu Society.
