Bush Cockroach

Ellipsidion australe (nymph)

Description:

1-2 cm black and reddish-black rounded roach with a cream to pale yellow band across the carapace and pale dotted lines across the abdomen

Habitat:

Found on a night light by a driveway in a garden. Probably keeping warm on a chilly spring night

Notes:

Another bad photograph. Black on black really needs a tripod to get the slow shutter speed working
