Description:

Long 1st dorsal fin spines, steep blunt head, whitish with 3-4 brown bars on head and body; black occelated spots on foreback, mid and rear dorsal fin.

Habitat:

Solitary or form loose groups. Young mimic drifting plant debris. Open Sandy bottom near reefs.
