Thanks Leuba, That is very nice of you to say that. I get some easier shots because my source of moths for photographing is a few feet from the door and I bring a lot of specimens home. They become calm in the warm containers and most of them are easier to shoot. It is lot easier than the distances you guys are covering. I will run out new moths soon enough though

Stephen, I spotted a similar moth and had labelled it incorrectly as Mythimna sp. But according to an expert "Maybe have a look at some of the Leucania - also in the subfamily Hadeninae. Maybe uda."

I am yet to do this !! I was impressed by the white star-burst on forewings of this moth. I could not get a good shot. Yours is lovely.
