Small moth about 25mm across. With big antennae. Bat like face on close-up.
Spotted inside house at night.
Congrats for your spot of the day shot!
As I spotted what I think to be the same species of Moth, in South of France, I posted it too (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/537...)
Funnily I saw it outside, not far from a river, on the ground (alive).
Hope it helps to find out what kind of moth it is exactly.
Cheers.
Frederic
Congratulations on the SOTD, sunnyjosef. Beautiful antennas!!
Nice images! The antennae are really interesting. Makes me wonder what the evolutionary benefit to them is.
Thank you Yasser and all my friends at project noah for selecting this... It really is an honor to be associated with you. And thank you beaker98 and Lauren for your great comments!!
Congratulations Josef, amazing moth how it holds its antennae straight up. Makes it looks like a long-eared bat from the front! :))
Congrats Sunny! This awesome close-up was chosen as a Moth Week Spotting of the Day! Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos and we look forward to seeing what you find next!

What a cute moth ! I agree, a bat came to mind straightaway. Great set of pics, Sunny. Thanks for sharing this.
