Narcissus triandrus ssp. palllidulus
This beautiful narcissus is commonly known as the "angels tears" because of it's drooping flowers held in umbels of up to 4 per stem, each one with a cup shaped corona and reflexed petals. The flowers begin almost a bi-coloured cream and pale yellow but turn a uniform cream as they mature. The species has long, dark green cylindrical leaves which can soon show yellow tips if overwatered.
Spotted in a clearing in a pine tree (Pinus Silvestris) forest. Reserva de la Biosfera del Real Sitio de San Ildefonso-El Espinar.
