Red-Spotted Garter Snake

Thamnophis sirtalis concinnus

Description:

Red-Spotted Garter Snake swimming through the pond lilies at the Mount Pisgah Arboretum, near Springfield, Oregon. I assume he was hunting the many tadpoles we saw there.
