Thank you, Bill! I was really surprised to see it and had no idea what it was! But, with my ever improving identification skill (not hard to improve when you start from zero) I figured it out:) The mosquitoes were not too bad in the prairie, but were the worst I have seen on the woodland trails!!!
Nice find! Don't see these too often! I can't believe you went out and braved the mosquitos! I didn't even last 30 minutes they were so bad.
