American crow

Corvus brachyrhynchos

Description:

The American crow is all black, with iridescent feathers. I enjoyed watching this crow toss the sand dollar around - he finally gave up on it and picked up a clam.

Habitat:

Spotted at Dash Point State Park - at the beach while the tide was out.
