Diamond-banded Lacewing is pale yellowish brown to ivory in colours, sometimes tinged with pale green. Eyes dark grey to black. Antennae pale yellowish green. This Lacewing can be distinguished by the pterostigma are bright pinkish red in colour. The abdomen has prominent dark red diamond-shaped mark on each segment
Spotted at night time on ceiling. North Eastern NSW.
There doesn't seem to be much information on these guys on the web. According to the encyclopedia of life they've been recorded on Lord Howe Island, around Sydney & Sunnybank in Brisbane.

Yeah it was gorgeous! As far as i know it's the only one of it's species on here so far but don't hold me to it! I searched it's common & scientific names under organisms and didn't find another.

Looks like a Green Lacewing, not sure of the particular species though.
