Viscid Violet Cort

Cortinarius sp.


Cortinarius iodes or Cortinarius iodeoides. The cap was slimy and vibrant green with some lighter and darker spots. The gills were light brown and the spores that fell on the stipe were also brown as you can see in photos 2 & 3. Pale to white stipe.
