small shrub in the legume family with yellow flowers that grow in clusters at the end of a stalk

Habitat:

spotted in a coastal desert wadi (Wadi GNai); "native to African countries from Cape Verde east to Somalia and south to South Africa. It is also native to Asia, from the Middle East to Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and India to Sri Lanka." ~wiki

Notes:

called 'sanamaki' by the local Bedouin; used medicinally to cure constipation
