American Robin Eggs

Turdus migratorius

Notes:

There are tons and tons of nests in Chicago wildlife areas right now. Some of them are about 8 or 10 feet up - too high for me to see, but not crazy high. So I've been getting creative when I see a nest that doesn't have an adult bird home. I have the ability to tell my camera "in 10 seconds, take 5 pictures, one second apart." So I've been using that ability and putting my camera on the collapsed tripod and holding it up over my head, into the trees and *hoping* something good comes out. :) I have to say, this one isn't too bad.
