Hi Bart, many thanks for your comments. It is indeed very useful for me to look at the belgian web sites. I am already a member of Natuurpunt and I go with them hiking once in a while but is good to find more people with interest in nature that are here in this area :-)

I will be looking forward to your shots! Especially if they are from around Leuven (my home town). You can find more sightings from this region (including mine) on http://dijleland.waarnemingen.be. So you know what you can expect in the future. For the whole of Belgium look on waarnemingen.be, Netherlands on waarneming.nl and for the whole world on Observado.org. The main goal of these websites is focused on sightings and online analysis tools, less on the social aspect like this website does.
