Wagtail

M. a. alba

Description:

As far as I could make out this appears to be a juvenille Wagtail of the subspecies M.a.alba. It was quite happily wading around in a large puddle of water which had formed where a grass area was being watered next to the beach on the Aegean Coast of Turkey. The adults have a lot more black markings, which develop later in life, but even this juvenile has very distinctive markings on its wings, tail and the top of its legs.
