Polyporus arcularius

Description:

large caps on thin stem growing on a dead log, tiny green insect nymph on the stem in the last photo

Habitat:

temperate forest

Notes:

I spotted this fungi at Heartland Forest. There is an amazing looking insect nymph on the stem in the last shot. I didn't even notice it until I got home and looked at my photos. I will post a separate spotting for it.
