Description:

"A rather common species and probably widely distributed through New Guinea. Seems to prefer lower altitudes. In New Guinea represented by the nominotypical subspecies isis. DISTRIBUTION: ssp. isis: New Guinea, D'Entrecasteaux Islands, Bismarck Archipelago."

Habitat:

Observed in a large semi-urban yard/garden next to a disturbed patch of remnant forest.

Notes:
