No problem!! I seriously feel like a spokesperson for that park sometimes. I tell everyone about it! Enjoy your time there :)

I just did the boardwalk but I felt the same way...no one that I know here has ever been there...and there was only one other person on the boardwalk the whole time I was there. I will definitely check out the Kingsnake Trail. I saw the Loblolly Pines...awesome!

Thanks for the reply.

Oh, Congaree is probably my favorite of all the National Parks I've been to! The boardwalk is nice, lots of big trees including the national champ loblolly pine. However, my favorite trail there is probably the kingsnake trail. It's amazing to me how few people have even heard of this park, it's just so amazing with the champion trees and everything.

Hey Marylou,
I see you are in the Congaree Nat'l Park. I'm staying with an ill sister nearby and have visited...it's a neat place. Any trail recommendations?
