Widespread species occurring from the Moluccas (Halmehera, Ternate, Batjan, Ceram) to northern Australia (Queensland). Widespread and common on New Guinea.

Habitat:

Spotted in large semi-urban yard/garden adjacent to a disturbed patch of remnant forest.
